Recent ActivityNCPK is a Pre-K program designed to prepare 4 year olds for Kindergarten. Acceptance is based on income eligibility and other criteria. NCPK is a child-centered program providing the highest standard of learning available for 4 year olds. A child is eligible for the 2012-2013 school year if his/her birthdate falls on or between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008.

Paid Pre-K hours are from 8 a.m. through 3 p.m.c/o Sonya Rhodes 172 Lukin Street Marion, NC 28752 Payment is due in advance, by the 1st day of the upcoming month, and may be dropped off between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Mon. - Fri. at the above address. Please make checks payable to the "McDowell Co. Pre-K Program." Late PolicyParents: Please do your best to pick up your child on time. Per our Student/Parent Agreement, there is a $5 late fee for every 15 minutes that you are late picking up your child. For example: the late fee for NCPK students starts at 2:31 p.m. and goes up in 15 minute intervals. So, at 2:46 p.m. - your late fee would be $10, at 3:01 - your late fee would be $15. "Late pick-up fees" should be paid directly to the teacher. Thank you for your cooperation and your prompt pick-ups!
